INTRODUCTION 

I believe you liked my yesterday’s blog post on “Make Money Online by writing Articles”. Today we will discuss about online advertising. I request all of you not to get overwhelmed by the word “Advertising”. Subsequently in this post I will tell you how it is easy to Make Money Online with advertising.

The point I want to make is that early advertising was limited to Television, radio, newspaper and magazines. But now advertising is getting more and more online. Every company wants to advertise on top websites that people visits. In fact on Internet there is enough space for a small website or blog owner (like you) to make money.

Big companies as well as network of small webmasters are looking for channels for advertising. So you can become a channel serving ads for them and they will pay for ads you show.

As you will use your articles or blogs for advertising you have to keep in mind few realities, then only your advertising can be successful.

1. Choose Right Advertising Medium: As your medium will be a blog or articles then choose right way to advertise. You have several choices like Banner ads, contextual ad, video ads etc. I recommend for contextual ads because it is highly targeted and people do click them.

2. Define Your Objective: Whether you are advertising for getting more visitors or want to sell something define your objective clearly. For each goal you have to adopt different advertising path. For example if you want more visitors then your advertising must be general and if you are selling something then the ads must tell the benefits of the product.

3. Be Creative: There are many advertisers competing so ads must be creative as well as capture the imagination of people. You can take advantage of DHTML and JavaScript to make your ads dynamic. Keep experimenting all the time.

SUMMARY

Follow my first two blogs to create a medium on which you will display ads for companies. Then create or get ads according to the content of your blog or articles. Companies will pay you if you are able to sell their products or just for the clicking the ads.
